Token Limits

Stable Diffusion automatically converts your prompt into "tokens," which are numerical values representing recognized words. Unfamiliar words are segmented into sub-words until understood. For instance, a term like "reddog" might be split into two tokens: "red" and "dog".

Currently, the maximum number of allowed tokens is 77. Longer prompts will be truncated. A red border around the prompt field indicates that you have exceeded this limit. Keep in mind that your prompt is a combination of the Prompt and Style fields.
